Current Mood:꽃보다 남자
I finally decided to blog about the Korean version of drama serials, Boys Over Flowers, thus in Korean 꽃보다 남자. And this guy here is the Korean version of Hanazawa Rui, and it's so a difference as compared to the Japanese one.
As I mentioned, the Japanese were so much better in the form of looks and also production-.- Yes, this is the Japanese cast of the Flowers 4 and the one in the foreground is Rui. They are really far much better looking than the Korean cast ones.
Even the Japanese cast for bully Domyouji Tsukasa(the guy in the top left corner of the photograph) is so much better looking than the Korean one. This was the Japanese band Arashi, seriously, they all look far more better than any in the Korean one, though only one played in the Japanese version of Boys Over Flowers.
The violinist Rui Hanazawa, Tsukasa's best friend, becomes Tsukushi's first serious romantic interest. He is a quiet and cold guy, but he has a soft spot for his close friend and Tsukushi's idol, the model Todou Shizuka, whom he harbored feelings for since childhood. His character is a bit complex, and always has changing feelings for Tsukushi, but above all cares about her in a friendly way.(From Wikipedia)
The Japanese one totally give people the feel of how cute yet quiet Rui was supposed to be, just the right person for this character.
Yet, no matter how I see, I just cannot find the perfect sense or feel of Rui in the Korean one!!! Even though he is already holding a violin and in white outfit with gloden hair:/
Boys Over Flowers is a 24-episode South Korean television drama broadcasted by KBS2TV in 2009. This is the Korean drama adaptation of one of the most popular manga of all times, Hana Yori Dango. It is the equivalent of Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden and Japan's Hana Yori Dango, and thus making it the 3rd televised version to air on TV screens.
윤지후/Hanazawa Rui with Geum Jan Di금잔디, the perfect pair in mine point of view.
Shall blog more about it next time, after I have completed watching the first episode at least(and if I ever will). I heard many people commenting how alike they look to those in the original comic, but I thought it was orignally and always a Japanese comic??? How does the Korean look more like a Japanese when compared to a Japanese?! And they may look alike to the comic drawings because they undergo plastic surgery just for this series, who know since plastic surgery is so common nowadays, not to mention in Korea-.- And I seriously don't like the Korean cast, they look very different to the orignial looks of how they should be in the story, not to mntion they changed a major part of the story!!!
Back to something not as prejudice, I just saw on news today that Obama's half-blood brother actually really lived in ShenZhen in China!!! I feel so honoured to be living a few thousand kilometres away from him when in HK and counting back the many times I went to ShenZhen(: By the way, one can get to ShenZhen simply throught the HK MTR(our MRT) within a few hours. Starting to regret not going there to visit his shop...or at least get his autograph. Shall visit ShenZhen and the rest of Canton district on my next trip back home. I must visit ShenZhen, now that it is as good as HK, the shopping malls there are simply great, so is the food and attractions. Though I felt reserved regarding the theme park part, espically the coasters.
