It's Friday the thirteen today, but it turns out to be a fun and nice day for me. If you exclude some funny yet inapproiate incident that befalled on me, Michelle W, Bing Hui and Kenji, maybe not me and Bing Hui. Nevermind let's all forget the past and all those unhappy(? for Kenji) incidents(: Went lower secondary for the first time too, we almost bumped into Mr Loh:X Was assigned so many hoilday assignments, got hoilday and no hoilday not much difference. Afer all, it's only one week holidays, monday and tuesday got cca camp(day), wednesday got A.Maths remedial, thursday got POA remedial and so on. Tomorrow would also be a busy day for me, Sunday got tuition almost full day. I want to travel to Miami perhaps, to take a break from all these stress and relax at the beach sites(: But it's quite impossible.
And I passed all my 7 subjects, with flying colours(: I shall share something with you readers, to encourage those who performed well and motivate those who did not perform as well.
So as everyone was exchanging how they faired, I approached this guy from 308. I kind-of know him. He had a rather upset and disappointed look on his face.
Vanessa: How many subject you failed?
Him:None.
Vanessa: How many A1s you got?
Him: (After a minute or two of thinking)Five or six...I show you the report slip.
He was still wearing that unhappy facial expression on him.
......
Vanessa: OMG! Six A1s! A1 for Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Comb. Humans., E. Maths, A. Maths. A2 for English.... why still so unhappy?
Him: My mother say Maths and Science must get at least 80 plus....
......
His A1s were all 78-79, yet it's not exactly 80 and above. His friends say his mother will lecture and ground him if he did not meet the requirements. Imagine you are in his shoes, do you still think you are very pitiful? I think he is really very poor thing, triple science is rather hard to manage, and so are the Maths. No matter how you see it, 80 and 78 in O levels are still A1, why make such a fuss?
