This cute puppy above is actually the Hong Kong version's of Marley & Me poster, I feel it's very much more attractive and cuter than all the other posters of Marley & Me. I think they should make this the cover of the book, instead of the dull one, this puppy is simply adorable(:
After such a long wait, I finally got to watch Marley & Me yesterday night(:
And now after watching the film, I want very badly to read the original story from the book. Should I buy the Chinese one or English version of the book?
I love Marley, especially it being a yellow Labrador retriever. It has always been my dream to have 4-5 Labrador retrievers, maybe two chocolates, one yellow and two other golden retrievers.
Despite the fact that Marley might be a very naughty and disobedient dog, I still loved Marley. Marley really did bring much joy to people, in forms of smiles and laughter. The only thing negative about Marley was that he like to chew and eat things, things not meant to be eaten!!! But that was because he was not provided with proper education, he was kicked out of the lesson and John and Jenny were too nice to him, at least they should correct him.
Marley likes to spoil things too, John's Birthday cake, the necklace, furniture and even the snowman. But it's really very cute of Marley to spoil things at the most fun peak, once again, that brought laughter and joy to people.
All in all, Marley is a lovable and lovely dog to me. I do not mind having such a dog, it's not the world's worst dog at all. On the other hand, he might be the world's best dog to me.
Despite Marley often wracking havoc and creating troubles when it was young, but it was really a great and loyal dog from the start. Where else can you possibly find such a great companion? Marley might be naughty, but most of the time, these turns out to be laughter for everyone, thus he is not an irritating nuisance after all.
And at a few point in the movie, I realised Marley & Me is somewhat like a Japanese movie some years back, Quill.
Quill (クイール, kuīru) is a Japanese film structured like a documentary of a guide dog, first released in Japan on 13 March 2004 and on DVD on 25 September 2004. It was also released for the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival in Canada on 17 September 2004.
Quill was also a Labrador retrieve, he was later train to be a guide-dog for the blind. Unlike Marley, Quill was a very obedient dog and sensible one too. He was the clever and quite type, seeming to understand many things and people. He was very loyal, Quill stood 5 hours at the station waiting the return of his master, it never crossed his mind to go off, despite how tired and hungry he was. Sadly, like Marley, Quill passed away at an old age, due to several serious bone injuries.
Quill died at the age of 12 years and 25 days, like Marley & Me, the story of Quill was adapted from a real life story. I loved the movie of Quill, it was one of my favourite movie. But I felt sad at the last part of both Quill and Marley & Me, I was sad from their deaths, unwilling to watch them pass away and never come back again.Subscribe to Posts [Atom]
