Current Mood: Fat!!!
Congratulations おめでとう Marco Li(:
This might be a bit overdue or late, but sorry as I just received your photographs through Facebook today afternoon. It has been perhaps ten years or so of friendship for us, we have been through many new years and school holidays. Remember all those time we went to Malaysia for Chinese New Year with the rest, all those time we played Daidee and such poker card games during each and every BBQ session, doing stupid dares and stuffs( I think my dare was to hug you?), playing with fire when we were younger, me and WingSum sitting aside watching you guys play soccer, going for chalet this CNY and many more. We have watch you first scoring very well at PSLE and entered Raffles Insitution, taking up Japanese as your third language, excelling well in your studies, promoted to Raffles Insitution Junior College, becoming the CCA leader for Bridge club and lastly preparing and working very hard for your A levels. With dedication and diligence, you managed to achieve your desired results today.
Of my ten years knowing you, Friday was the happiest day I ever saw of you. Firstly it might be due to your sister's wedding, but the main part was because of your results for A levels. It was indeed a job well done. Your hard work has paid off, I remember there was once at Malaysia during CNY a few years back, all of us was planning to play Monopoly right after dinner, and you was the only one of us who would lock yourself up in the room and study even during holiday while the rest of us was happily playing Monopoly outside. I must admit I would never be able to do that myself, but you did. Even though you did not achieve an A for Japanese, but a B instaed, but B was already very well of, considering only 5 or less people scored A in Japanese for A levels this year. So you need not feel upset over the B in your result slip after all. An scoring an A in both H2 Biology and H3 Molecular Biology was not easy at all. Scoring an A in General Paper and Chemistry was well as Mathematics was not something which everyone can achieve too.
All in all, congratulations upon achieving 7 A and 1 B at your GCE A levels(: Wishing you all the best for your application towards Medicine and Happy Birthday in advance=) 卒業おめでとう (sotsugyo omedeto), がんばってね(ganbatte) and sorry but 私の日本語はへたです(Watashi no nihongo wa heta desu).
