As every reader of Vanessa's blog should know by now, she is a major fan of Korean dramas and a lover of Boys Over Flowers. Be it the Japanese or Korean version. But she likes and prefers the Korean version better, due to numerous reasons.And such, her recent posts would be all about these new Korean idols of hers. The F4 or otherwise know as Flower Four. Today, it would be all about the cutest(in Vanessa's opinion) guy of the F4.

Yes, Kim Bum(: 
Kim Bum is his stage name, his birth/actual name is Kim Sang Bum.
Isn't he just too cute to resist?!
I have never seen any other guy cuter or more adorable than Kim Bum, seriously.
Kim Bum (born Kim Sang-bum on July 7, 1989) is a South Korean actor who has appeared in numerous Korean television series and dramas such as Unstoppable High Kick and East of Eden. He has most notably played the role of So Yi-jung on popular drama Boys Before Flowers.

Sadly, he's not included in Singapore's LG market.

Actually, I did not use to like him at first.
Because those photographs of him I saw initially did not really managed to show out the lovely side of Kim Bum.
I think he is the cutest guy I have ever seen, in my entire 15 years living on Earth.
But I just cannot identify what makes him so cute.Perhaps his eyes?
His dimples?
His sweet smile?
His killer good looks?

This was to be a post on the profile of Kim Bum, but I have difficulties searching information of him on the Internet. Most of the information was too basic or lacking in details. Websites with full details was in Korean or Japanese. So I have decided to blog about his character in Boys Over Flowers instead. Since BOF is currently very hit and also being broad casted here. Naturally, people would want to know about his role in BOF.
Kim Bum is So Yi Jung in Boys Over Flowers(꽃보다 남자), which is a 25-episode South Korean television drama broadcast by KBS2TV in 2009. This is the Korean drama adaptation of the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango. It is the equivalent of Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden and Japan's Hana Yori Dango (TV series), and thus making it the third televised version to air on television screen.
Yi Jung is a member of the infamous F4 in Shinhwa school. The F4 consists of 4 people: Goo Jun Pyo, Yoon Ji Hoo, So Yi Jung, and Song Woo Bin. Goo Jun Pyo is the leader of the F4 and is also the heir of the Shinhwa group.
Yi Jung is playboy who often flirts with girls, and is himself a reputed potter. He is from a family of well-known artists, who own an art gallery exhibiting national treasures. Thus, he was from a wealthy family and born with a silver spoon.
Yi Jung is not born a flirt or playboy. He was left in this state after the girl he loved most left him. Thus, since then he lost faith in love. That was until he met Jan Di's best friend, Ga Eul.
Ga Eul starts developing romantic feelings for Yi Jung after he helps her get over her boyfriend who just played with her and took her on a fake date to help set Jun Pyo and Jan Di back up again. At first, it's obvious that Yi Jung only thinks of her as a good friend when he says he doesn't like girls that are "nice, idiotic, or involved with his friend". Ever since Ga Eul helps him through his self-destruction, Yi Jung finds out that Ga Eul, not Eun Jae has always been by his side. He eventually shows some feelings towards her, especially when he promises to visits her first by the time he comes back from Sweden.
Well, this is all I can find about Kim Bum and Yi Jung. I will update if I ever know more news about him.
By the way, Kim Bum is the youngest of the Flower four, he is only 19 this year. And I think he did underwent plastic surgery, though I am hoping it's not true. But evidence does not collaborate with the facts, how sad. Search the Internet and you will be awed by how different he looked a few years back and now, it's like two completely different person. And during which he was filming Boys Over Flowers, Kim Bum got into a car accident twice. Lucky, the injuries he suffered was minor.
